Reclaim Youth Support Ministry

Reclaim Youth Support Ministry provides adolescent women who are 16 years or older and facing homelessness or undesirable living arrangements a safe, healthy residence while enrolled in high school.

Requirements:

  • Students must be 16 and older to be eligible. If under 18, the student must have  a legal guardian’s permission to enter the program.
  • Homeless or unaccompanied youth
  • Unstable living arrangements and needing stability
  • No legal issues
  • Enrolled in an accredited high school (Home schooling not permitted.)

Program purpose: To provide educational classes and groups that promote healthy lifestyle habits and enrich each participant’s life. Topics and services include:

  • Independent living, household management, financial literacy, budgeting, job readiness
  • Case management emphasizing goal setting and career planning
  • One-on-one support and advocacy at school and home
  • Bible studies and spiritual enrichment
  • Developing effective communication skills  
  • Counseling
  • Support groups and peer networking
  • Obtaining legal records, such as a birth certificate or Social Security card
  • Training in a multitude of skills
